Photographer Information
 

You do not have to live in Houston to participate this year. Regardless of where you live, if you have an established client base that you feel confident you can get to participate, we’d love for you to sign up. Here is what we are asking of participating photographers:


1.     We are asking that you donate 1 8×10 print and digital proofs (number to be decided by you) for each person that signs up. We will provide you with our tax information on company letterhead for your tax purposes.

2.     The fee for clients to participate is $75 and 100% will go directly to the Layla Grace Foundation; you will not have to worry about taking donations and turning them over to LGF.

3.     Your links and website will be featured on our page and anywhere we promote this event. We encourage you to market this event to your clients.

4.     Please send us an image that is 900×600 (horizontal) or 400×600 (vertical) pixels and that include your logo/business name and website information. This image can be a collage of multiple images if you choose.

5.     In an effort to ensure the process does not leave you with a lot of work to do, we are going to be sending each client a model release and contract with all information that is pertinent and protective of the photographers rights (copyright information, usage rights, etc.). This will be sent to the clients as part of their confirmation email.

6.     We are asking you to sign a commitment and contract stating that you agree to the terms above and that you will represent the Layla Grace Foundation in the best light possible.

7.     It is important to understand that you may or may not have additional orders from these sessions and there is no guarantee that you will have additional income for participating.


Here’s how the day will work:


•Clients will find your name/location in our on-line store and purchase a session.

•Clients will be booked for 20-minute sessions, with 15 minute breaks in between each session.

•Once all spaces are filled, each photographer will receive an email with their clients’ names and contact information.

•You will be responsible for contacting each client with any further information, (location, times, clothing specifics, etc.)

•April 22, no matter where your location – the portrait party will take place. If it rains that day, we have a rain-out date of April 29th chosen.
